Quail Feed Storage and Needs of Drinking for Quail

Another thing that should be noted by the breeder is a storage area for quail feed. Breeders should know the capacity of storage of feed and how to save it. If it can't be stored, making it according to your needs. For example, the feed pellet-shaped with a moisture content of around 12% and fat content of no more than 5% can be stored for 1-2 months. However the storage should be in dry conditions, not humid, and have good air circulation.

Things that must be considered in the feed storage are as follows:
- The roof can withstand storage rainfall, do not leak, or a splash of water that enters the room.
- The storage conditions of dry, not humid, and good air circulation.
- Do not get direct sunlight on feed.
- Piles of food do not directly contact with the floor or walls that need to be backed with board or bulkhead. - Do not hoard food in large quantities and for a long time, but just enough that neither economically wasteful of transportation costs.
- Do not mix the feed with other ingredients that can cause pollution.

Needs of drink on a quail farm is very vital.  Without the provision of water, caged quail with feeding in a certain period can lead to problems. Good quality of drinking water is not contain substances that can affect metbolisme and cause interference or danger for quail.

Drinking water must be available continuously (add libitum) in cages. so do not get drinking water is empty or not available. The frequency of administration of the day, ie 2-3 times or customized needs. Drinking water needs sufficient and maintained quality.
